The story behind the name
Coffee Stained Wood is that when I was growing up, my Grandpa would always give his grandkids some of his coffee and he would leave his mug everywhere. We didn't have one piece of furniture that didn't have a coffee ring on it.

HEY!
I'M JOHNNY!
When my wife and I first got married back in 2018, we had this idea to create a small, local wood working business together. We were going to make tables, bookshelves, cutting boards, and more!
We designed a logo, bought some small supplies, and we were ready to go!
But as always, life ended up getting in the way of that dream.
So we put a pin in it...
Fast forward to 4 years later, after we moved out of our first apartment in Mountain House, Ca, we packed up and moved up to the beautiful mountains of Sonora, Ca.
Through lots of trial and error, learning curves, and experience, we decided to give it another go!
Thus creating,
Coffee Stained Wood!
